Happy 250th, America. 🇺🇸

What an honor it was to witness and document the International Naval Review 250 aboard the USS Nimitz (CVN-68) a celebration 250 years in the making, and a reminder of everything this nation has built and defended since 1776.

With deep respect and gratitude to those who made this historic gathering possible:

President Donald J. Trump
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth
Acting Secretary of the Navy Hung Cao
Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Daryl L. Caudle
Commander, U.S. 2nd Fleet
Adm. Karl Thomas, Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command
Rear Adm. Forrest Young
Ambassador Jeff Bartos, U.S. Representative for U.N. Management and Reform

And to every one of the more than 50 allied and partner nations who sent ships, aircraft, and sailors to stand alongside the United States for this occasion thank you for the daily work of keeping the world's oceans free and open.

A special thank you to the Armada Española for the commemorative medal presented during INR 250 a gesture I will carry with me always.

And finally to U.S. Southern Command: thank you for the support toward peace and stability in Venezuela and across our hemisphere. Venezuela and the Venezuelan people deserve, and have earned, the right to live in freedom. America becomes greater still when our neighbors rise alongside us. As one human family, we are always stronger when we choose to lift each other up.
