This series captures the intricate intersection of medicine and high-resolution digital art. Using the Sony A7R V, I documented two distinct surgical procedures at Clínica Diagonal in Barcelona. The first case features a sublingual biopsy on a 45-year-old female patient (smoker), where the Sigma 35mm f/1.2 Art and 50-150mm Sony GMaster allowed for extreme detail in tissue pathology and surgical intervention. The second case follows a pediatric tonsillectomy on a 5-year-old patient, utilizing the 15mm Sigma Art to capture the immersive environment of the operating room. These images aim to provide a raw, undistorted look at surgical excellence, emphasizing texture, precision, and the delicate nature of human anatomy.
